In chicken farms that generally use flat or online farming, the water lineand feed lineof chicken raising equipment are basic and relatively important equipment. Therefore, if there is a problem with the water line and feed line of the chicken farm, it will threaten the healthy growth of the chickens. Therefore, farmers must use the feed line equipment reasonably and scientifically, and solve problems in a timely manner when problems occur. Below, chicken equipment manufacturer Machinery will talk about how to solve common faults in the water line and feed line.

Common fault 1: The material line motor does not work: After this fault occurs, check whether the motor is burned. You can remove the power cord on the motor from the control cabinet and connect it to the main power supply separately. Check whether the motor is running. If the motor running, it means there is a problem inside the control cabinet. You can check whether the contactor in the control cabinet is working normally and whether the circuit contacts are loose. If the motor does not run, check whether the wire is broken. If it is determined that the wire is intact, this proves that it is If there is a problem with the motor, the motor needs to be repaired.

Common fault 2: Waterline material line auger problem: The material line auger must not be reversed. If it is reversed, the auger will be twisted or the auger will be pushed out of the material pipe. If the auger breaks, the user should contact the manufacturer to quickly replace or weld the material line auger.

Common fault three: Problems with the lifting system of the water feed line: The lifting system plays a key role in the entire water line and feed line equipment. If there is a problem with the lifting system, the feed line will not be able to be raised to the desired height, affecting the chicken's feeding.

By the way, Waterline management that large farms must know.

1) Straightness

Before entering the chicks, adjust the waterline to be parallel to the bottom of the cage. You can use a ruler as a reference and fix the connecting nodes.

2) Height

1. The height of the eyes of chicks 1-2 days old is required to be the same as the height of the nipple tip;

Gradually increase the height after 2 or 3 days of age.

3) Water pressure

Take the water output of the terminal nipple as a reference

1. The water output at the end of the first week is 25-30ML/min;

2. After one week, according to the water output standard of the waterline nipple: water pressure flow = age * 7 + 35ML.

4) Daily inspection and adjustment of water lines

1. Check the waterline at least twice a day (8:00 a.m., 20:00 p.m.) to see if the waterline nipples have water leakage, leakage, water interruption, water shortage, etc., and solve the problem in time;

2. Adjust the waterline height twice a week, at the beginning of the week and in the middle of the week. If it is not straight, use a ruler to measure it and fine-tune it with a hanging rope;

3. Brush the water line filter device in the dosing room at least once a week. If dosing, clean the filter before and after dosing to avoid clogging of the filter and affecting the water line pressure in the house;

4. Measure the water output of the waterline nipples at least once a week, and measure the water output of the end nipples of each waterline. The water output of the end nipples of the waterline is required to meet the required standards to ensure that all waterline nipples are not blocked;

5. When the chickens are drinking water normally, lightly press the nipple at the end of the water line with your fingers to make the water flow down naturally and continuously. Use a measuring cup to catch it for one minute. The amount of water collected is the water flow rate from the nipple at the end of the water line;

6. Flush the water line 1-2 times a week. If you add medicine, flush it on the day of dosing. Each flush must ensure that the pipeline water pressure is not less than 3Mpa, and flush in separate rows. Select rows 1-3 according to the pressure;

7. Before grouping, clean water must be flushed to the end and the nipples must be cleaned to ensure that the chickens have a clean water source after grouping.

5) Record water intake daily

If the drinking water volume decreases or exceeds 20%, you need to check whether there is water leakage in the equipment, or analyze whether it is caused by weather and temperature, or there is a problem with your health status. You need to find out the cause and solve the problem immediately.

6) Water reserve

The farm must have sufficient water reserves. Under reasonable conditions, the water storage capacity of the farm must meet the maximum water consumption for 24 hours to prevent insufficient water supply due to emergencies such as power outages.
